2’
s Program
This
program is designed to help our youngest students begin to deal
with separation from home and to learn the foundations of interacting
within a group.
3’s
and 4's Program
These programs provide children with both teacher-directed time
and self-directed time throughout the day. Open play and one-to-one
learning experiences begin each day, followed by group clean-up
and snack set-up. During circle time, children are exposed to
activities involving literacy, numbers and math, art, music and
science. And, through switching time (see below), children choose
among a number of age-appropriate activities that are provided
in four rooms.
Pre-K
Program
The program is designed for those students eligible for kindergarten
who really need another maturing year. The children attend from
9am-1pm. They are involved in a creative curriculum built around
the project approach. This allows them to study a concept and
look at it through art, language, writing, numbers, reading and
science.
