Confirmation
Our Confirmation program is for middle school students interested in further exploring their Christian faith. For 6th and 7th grade students, the curriculum rotates between the Old Testament and New Testament every year so that each student is exposed to both sections of the Bibles. Each class concentrates on one well-known story and its relevance to the lives of today’s youth.
The curriculum for 8th grade students focuses on what it means to live a Christian life. In small groups, the students discuss the meaning and importance of prayer, community and service. At the end of the 8th grade year, those who wish to make an adult affirmation of faith may do so when the Bishop visits.
Classes are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, September-April, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Every class begins with dinner and time for fellowship followed by chapel led by the 8th graders before students break up by grade for class.
