About Discovery Hour

Sunday morning Discovery Hour begins with a coffee reception at 8:45 am and a faith-formation program from 9:00 am to 9:50 am. This schedule enriches the Sunday Saint Luke’s experience for adults of all ages, whether you choose to attend the 8:00 am or 10:00 am morning worship service.

Discovery Hour programs are designed to help us grow personally in faith and grow together as a parish family as we explore and engage the issues of the day. Our 50-minute interactive format allows for in-depth exploration of important topics as well as the opportunity for questions and discussion.

Discovery Hour speakers are accomplished experts in their fields and come from near and far. Programs include world and local affairs, music, sacred history and current events, life-planning, coping with challenge, prayer, scripture and more . . . always with a faith component.
